Mongolia and Kazakhstan to Strengthen Ties

ASTANA. September 13. KAZINFORM./Dulat Moldabayev/ Today Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Mongolia to Kazakhstan Ravdangiin Khatanbaatar has handed credentials to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. We have intentions to develop trade and economic relations of the states, Mongolian Ambassador said. "We will purchase petroleum derivates and grain in Kazakhstan”.Here's to more cooperation between the Kazakhs and Mongolians, Mongol brethren.
“There are many Kazakhs residing in Mongolia and lots of Kazakhs from Mongolia are living in Kazakhstan. This fact will contribute also to the development of mutual benefit collaboration,” the diplomat added.

I always liked the Kazakhs, they have so much more in common with us than the East Asian countries in terms of culture, history, genes, and language.
Kazakhs are people of mixed turkish/mongolian origin. They are our close brothers by blood. Almaty region was already populated by mongolian speaking kidans in 10-12th centuries, many mongolian speaking tribes (kereyd, merkid, olhonud, mangud, hongirad, oyrat/kalmyk, etc) participated in formation of kazakh nation. If mongolian participation had been little bit more, we could have another mongolian-speaking independent country - Kazakh Uls.
